We are the FIRST Tech Challenge team 13809. We are the 6th and 8th grade students from middle schools in Troy and Rochester Hills, Michigan. We love science, technology, math, music and sports. This is our second year in the FIRST competitions. We are all thrilled about continuing the journey. Apparently we are more comfortable with the technologies this year than last year. We are more skillful at assembling the parts and writing code. We still feel frustrated when things don’t work the way that we wished. But we can better cope with it now and constantly challenge ourselves to build a better robot. The FIRST Tech Challenge experience is not only about technology, it is also a celebration of team work, communication, problem-solving and cooperation. We will reach out and encourage more young students to devote their passion and efforts in FTC. Together, we will build a better community and a better world.
